He's produced the best figures in the Black Caps' 10-wicket win over Sri Lanka in Cardiff, taking three wickets for 22 runs from 6.2 overs.
Sri Lanka were demolished for 136, a target which was knocked off in 16.1 overs.
Ferguson says he's been concentrating on adapting quickly into his action, particularly in his first spell.
