A mother says Oranga Tamariki has made her life hell - after it threatened to uplift her baby unless it had a DNA test

The woman told the Herald on Sunday she was forced to get the test done to prove her ex-partner - a violent offender - didn't father her child.
But she says the agency knew he was in prison at the time her baby was conceived.
The woman was so fearful of losing custody of another child, that she went on the run with her baby.
However the test results came back almost conclusive, that the baby had a different father.
The woman now wants Oranga Tamariki to apologise for what she describes as "heavy handed" treatment.
