An Oranga Tamariki worker has pleaded guilty to grooming a teenage boy for sex, just days before she was meant to go on trial

An Oranga Tamariki worker has pleaded guilty to grooming a teenage boy for sex, just days before she was meant to go on trial

The woman, in her mid-30s, was due to stand trial in Auckland District Court on Monday.

She'd earlier denied charges, including accusations of using pornography and drugs to seduce the 15-year-old boy.

But yesterday the woman admitted to amended charges.

Name suppression will continue until her sentencing later this year.
