Hamish Bond believes there is plenty more to come from the new look New Zealand men's rowing eight as they build to August's World Rowing Championships in Austria

Bond and Mahe Drysdale are the high profile additions to the men's eight which finished fourth in the final of World Cup regatta in Poland.

Bond says they now know they are on the pace and just have to be more consistent.

He says he thought they were going alright but it was nice to find out in the race that at times they were on pace with the best crews in the world.

The New Zealand team head to Lucerne next month for the final World Cup regatta ahead of the world champs.
