A hint New Zealand will need to pitch the ball up when they meet Australia at Lord's in their cricket World Cup round robin match on Sunday morning
26 June 2019
Australian left-armers Jason Behrendorff and Mitchell Starc took nine of England's 10 wickets in the 64 run win over the tournament hosts this morning.
Behrendorff took five for 44 bringing the ball back into right-handers, despite angling down the ground's famous 2-metre incline.
He says England bowled too short so they made a conscious decision to get the ball up and took three wickets in the first 10 overs.
The New Zealand-Australia match is expected to be played on the same pitch.
