Air New Zealand's standing by its decision to stop offering travellers newspapers

    Air New Zealand

It's come under fire for claiming it's about sustainability - when it operates hundreds of jet-fuel burning flights every day.

They say removing them will cut enough weight to save 2000 metric tonnes of carbon every year.
