    A Rotorua man has admitted murdering his wife

    A Rotorua man has admitted murdering his wife


    Michael Douthett has pleaded guilty in the High Court in Rotorua to killing Patricia Douthett.

    He also pleaded guilty to one charge of dangerous driving.

    The public gallery was full of family members and friends of his dead wife.

    Douthett has been remanded in custody for sentencing on August 29.
