    Some 'berry' good news for a Whangarei company..


    The Provincial Growth Fund is backing an expansion of Onyx Capital's hydroponic berry growing operation.

    The family-owned business is being loaned more than two million dollars for planting an extra four hectares at its Maungatapere Berries site.

    Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones says it'll create 45 full-time jobs and help introduce a new export industry into Northland.
