Robbers have made early morning raids on two Waikato service stations

Police were called to the first burglary at BP in Morrinsville shortly after 3am.

The offenders forced their way through the front door and are believed to have snatched cash and cigarettes.

A stolen getaway car was abandoned nearby.

Around an hour and a half later, the Challenge service station in Matamata was burgled.

Another stolen car was used to flee the scene.
