All Blacks captain concedes Pumas have head start in preparation for opening game of Rugby Championship

All Blacks captain Sam Cane concedes the Pumas have a head start in preparation for the opening game of the Rugby Championship this weekend

While the All Blacks have left eight of the Super Rugby champion Crusaders at home, Pumas coach Mario Ledesma will have the service of most of the Jaguares contingent in his squad.

Cane says their challenge is bringing five teams together to make one, while the Pumas have the bonus of continuity provided by their sole Super Rugby franchise.

Cane admits it's tough for the Jaguares who only finished their season a week ago, but they are very familiar with each other and will take plenty of confidence from their Super Rugby season.
