A woman whose dog attacked and badly injured a nurse during a home visit in Hastings has been ordered to pay her a thousand dollars
16 July 2019
Pounamu Morunga-Cooper's mastiff labrador-cross leapt a fence and attacked a DHB nurse as she walked up to a house to treat Morunga-Cooper's grandfather.
Another woman in the house yelled at the dog, and helped the nurse inside.
The Hastings District Court heard the nurse sustained serious puncture wounds, was unable to drive for some time and felt traumatised.
