Brooks Koepka's runner-up finishes inspire confidence heading into British Open
Brooks Koepka's runner up finish at two majors this year has ignited fire in his belly heading into the British Open starting at Royal Portrush this evening
17 July 2019
The American has won four majors in his last nine and has tied for second at the Masters and finished outright second at the US Open after retaining his PGA Championship title.
His best placed finish at the British Open is a tie for 6th in 2017.
Koepka says he has a strong record but at the same time he's disappointed.
He says finishing second sucks, but it's important to learn from each major and better that next time.
