    The dairy co-op is pledging to not build any new coal plants, as it reduces its reliance on the fossil fuel.

    But it says it needs time to find enough alternatives - and to shoulder the costs of transition.

    Cindy Baxter from the Coal Action Network says there are large quantities of waste wood from forestry which could be put to use on some sites.
