    Thomas Abercrombie's putting his latest National Basketball league crown high up on his personal list of achievements


    The Wellington Saints forward was named grand final MVP, after his side came from 21 points down to beat the Hawkes Bay Hawks 78-68 in Christchurch.

    Abercrombie's also won four ANBL titles with the Breakers as well as another NZ NBL title with the now defunct Waikato Pistons.

    He says the success of the Saints this year makes this title very sweet.



    The win caps off a perfect season for the Saints, where they went undefeated through 20 games.
