The Sunshine Coast Lightning want to keep their World Cup winning coach forever

The Sunshine Coast Lightning want to keep their World Cup winning coach forever

    But they know that's impossible.

Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua's off-contract with the Australian domestic netball side at the end of the current season, having juggled both roles this year.

New Zealand captain Laura Langman's deal is also due to conclude.

Lightning CEO Danielle Smith says they'll chat with the pair when they both return across the ditch.

She says at they'll work with them both to see what works best for everyone, but at some point, it will end.

There have been suggestions Taurua might consider moving into a leadership role with Ngapuhi and Maoridom.
