Two climate change activists have been arrested after they scaled Wellington's tallest building yesterday
24 July 2019
Two Greenpeace members began climbing up the side of the Majestic Centre at dawn.
After 10 hours, they reached the 20th floor where oil giant OMV has its offices located.
They fixed four banners to the building - protesting OMV's efforts to drill exploratory wells off the Taranaki Coast and in the Great South Basin.
The pair were met by police and arrested for trespassing just after 9 o'clock last night.
