It's up from six cases a day just last week, and three per day last month.
Immunisation Advisory Centre director Dr Nikki Turner says it's concerning and it means there's not enough vaccinated people in New Zealand.
She says unlike other diseases, the measles outbreak won't peak - but continue to spread through the unimmunised.
Turner says measles is spreading more rapidly around the world than ever before.
