More unease for people in Christchurch, as police continue to search for a dangerous man

Officers are armed again and have raided a number of properties as they hunt for the driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in New Brighton on Wednesday.

Christchurch East MP, Poto Williams, says she's been receiving lots of shocked and upset messages from locals.

Williams says it was a dreadful thing to happen and she feels for those who witnessed it.
