Insurance companies say it is too late now to get full cover for travel to Hong Kong

The insurance council of New Zealand is warning travellers to check for excluded events, after protests caused delays and cancellations at Hong Kong airport.
Chief executive Tim Grafton advises passengers to buy travel insurance when booking flights, before any significant events occur.
Passengers would still be covered for medical issues and theft in these circumstances, but not for disruptions for events that are already happening.
