A fugitive who allegedly stole a yacht and sailed to Australia has lost a bid to have the charges withdrawn

Paul Bennett is facing 62 charges - including for dishonesty, indecent assault, supplying ecstasy and operating a helicopter without a licence.
He claimed New Zealand police colluded with Australian police and immigration authorities to short circuit his extradition home.
He says he was detained and escorted back to New Zealand illegally.
But Judge Paul Kellar has disagreed - and dismissed the application.
