South African and Lions wing Aphiwe Dyantyi has tested positive for an unspecified banned substance

South African and Lions wing Aphiwe Dyantyi has tested positive for an unspecified banned substance

The 2018 World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year tested positive during a Springbok training camp last month.

Dyantyi denies wrongdoing and is determined to clear his name, having requested his B sample to analysed.

Dyantyi is unlikely to be named in the Springboks' World Cup squad, having missed out on Rugby Championship selection recently.
