The Civil Aviation Authority is dismissing fears over the safety of flights into Queenstown

Mayor Jim Boult sought CAA advice, following public concerns about planes icing over.
But CAA head, Graeme Harris, says weather analysis and reports of planes freezing on approach into Queenstown aren't justified.
He says Queenstown risks are much like risks at any other airport around the country, including mountains and birds.
Harris says risks are being managed effectively.
