American Magic skipper Dean Barker believes the jury's out on whether the next America's Cup will see cliffhanger races or blow outs in 2021

American Magic skipper Dean Barker believes the jury's out on whether the next America's Cup will see cliffhanger races or blow outs in 2021

The New York Yacht club has been the first syndicate to get it's new AC75 boat up on the foils, day's after Team New Zealand launched their boat in Auckland.

The defender is yet to put the boat through its paces other than testing the rigging and sails in the inner harbour.

Barker says until they line up against each other, there's no way of determining whether the racing will be close.

The first World Series regatta is slated for Cagliari in Italy next April.
