A fraud conviction for a former employee of Sir Peter Jackson

John DeMarco has been found guilty of six counts of fraud in the Wellington High Court this morning.
He committed the fraud while working as a production manager for Jackson's aircraft manufacturer company, The Vintage Aviator Limited.
DeMarco's offending was to pay back the more than one-million-dollars he owed a trust controlled by Jackson and his wife Dame Fran Walsh.
It included selling three reproduction vintage aircraft to the New Zealand Warbirds Association.
DeMarco's due to be sentenced on October 31.
