A coroner says a Timaru lawyer died when she crashed off a bike after drinking

37-year-old Jane Walsh died of head injuries after an early-morning bike crash last month.
She was a partner at local law firm Gresson Dorman & Co.
Coroner David Robinson says Walsh had been drinking, and borrowed the mountain bike from a friend to ride home on.
He says she wasn't wearing a helmet - and witnesses had seen her talking on a cellphone moments before losing her balance over a speed bump.
Robinson says while it's impossible to know whether a helmet could've saved her life - it's likely the alcohol and the cellphone use both contributed to her death.
