There appears to be plenty of support to help migrants vote in this year's local body elections

The Christchurch City Council has received 143 nominations for 54 positions - and many of them are first time candidates.
Christchurch Resettlement Services General Manager Shirley Wright says there's a lot of community support for migrants.
She says they're asking migrants if they know who they want to vote for, and how they go about doing it.
Wright says there are several people from the migrant community standing for council.
