There have been nearly 16-hundred cases of measles nationwide, with more than 13-hundred of those in Auckland.
Auckland health officials say they're cautiously optimistic they've seen the peak of the outbreak, with fewer cases presenting each week than were seen in August.
Immunisation Advisory Centre director Dr Nikki Turner says it's hard to say what could happen around the rest of the country.
She says while it looks it may have peaked in Auckland, there are outbreaks in other parts of the country.
