A man arrested and charged with the murder of a Canterbury dairy farm worker has appeared in court this afternoon

Police were called to a Rakaia property on September 18 - after a man found his co-worker dead in bed.
The victim was 29-year-old father of two Tony Waldron.
A 26-year-old Christchurch man was remanded in custody to appear at the High Court at Christchurch on October 21.
He has interim name suppression.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
