Waitemata Local Board is demanding an apology

The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled Auckland local body ticket C&R made "misleading" claims in a leaflet, that said the The City Vision-led board, representing central Auckland, is "40 percent overspent".

City Vision chair Robert Gallagher says deliberate or not, it's not a good look.

He says C&R owes an apology to voters in the Waitemata as they're the people they've attempted to mislead.
