People are being told to be more proactive about their KiwiSaver scheme

People are being told to be more proactive about their KiwiSaver scheme

The FMA has released its annual Kiwisaver report - showing total funds under management shot up 17 percent in the last year, to over 57 billion.

Financial Services Council chief executive Richard Klipin says people need to ask questions if they think they're in the wrong scheme.

He says in order to get the right returns, members need to look at their own particular circumstances.
