    A man's died after allegedly attempting to break into a van in Te Atatu, in West Auckland


    A person reportedly found two men trying to break into their vehicle about 4am on Sunday.

    During the altercation, an alleged offender sustained a head injury, and the second left in a vehicle.

    Police say the injured man died today.

    Police say enquiries are ongoing - including finding the second man - and they want to speak to anyone with information about the incident.
