An unlicensed immigration adviser has been sentenced to four months home detention

Timothy Joseph Spooner has also been ordered to pay 7050 dollars reparation to his victims.
He pleaded guilty in May to five charges laid by the Immigration Advisers Authority for advising immigrants when neither licensed nor exempt.
They relate to advice on student, visitor, work and resident visa applications, as well as advising one person over an Immigration and Protection Tribunal appeal.
