An embarrassing blunder by Police Minister Stuart Nash

Turns out he's been driving his diesel-powered car for two months with an expired registration - and without paying his diesel road user charges.

Nash says his road user charges are now up to date - and says if he gets an infringement notice he will pay.

Police are responsible for enforcing both road user charges and registration.

Nash was busted by a member of a Facebook group who posted photographs of the car showing it was on the road with an expired registration.
