Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross hopes his 15 years of working for the local community will help get him reelected
10 November 2019
Ross will be running as an independent candidate, after his dramatic departure from the National Party at the end of last year.
He'll be up against former Air New Zealand boss Christopher Luxon, who's filled his spot as National's Botany candidate.
Ross believes he can beat Luxon.
He says that as an MP that sits in between the two main parties, he's getting more done as a local MP.
