Hamish Bond has confirmed his plans for the Tokyo Olympics

Hamish Bond has confirmed his plans for the Tokyo Olympics

Speculation has ensued whether he might consider a crack at the single sculls seat held over the past three seasons by Robbie Manson.

Bond is a former national champion in the discipline.

However, he's sticking with crewmates in the men's eight and will line up at the regatta of death in may in Lucerne in a bid to qualify the boat.

Scott McLaughlin's unsure he'll have his co-driver back next season.

The Supercars champion has been assisted by Alex Premat for the Enduro Series this year, with the Frenchman keen to return.

The Kiwi wants Premat to continue, but nothing's guaranteed.

Roger Federer's slumped to a 7-5, 7-5 defeat to Dominic Thiem in his opening match at the ATP tennis finals in London.

The Swiss will likely have to beat world number two Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini to make the semi-finals.
