Auckland Police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman jogging in Browns Bay on Friday

Auckland Police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman jogging in Browns Bay on Friday

The woman says she was attacked by an overweight Maori man in his mid 20s, about 5 foot 10 tall.

Police say there've been two similar incidents in the last month on the nearby clifftop track between Murrays Bay and Rothesay Bay.

Senior Sergeant Callum McNeill says they've increased the Police presence in the area.

McNeill says he advises people to be alert when exercising alone.
