Breakers owner Matt Walsh has had his suspension cut in half
17 November 2019
Walsh was suspended from attending two Australian basketball league games and fined five thousand dollars for breaching the code of conduct.
It came after a verbal altercation with ANBL commissioner Jeremy Loeliger during the loss to South East Melbourne.
The game saw Breakers guard RJ Hampton ejected for a scuffle, a decision Walsh labelled a joke on social media.
But a successful appeal means he'll only miss tonight's game against the Wildcats in Perth, while the fine has been reduced to two thousand dollars, pending good behaviour by Walsh for a period of 12 months.
Tip off's at 7pm.
