Venod Skantha was last week found guilty of killing 16-year-old Amber-Rose Rush.
The Otago Daily Times reports suppression orders related to some of Skantha's former friends have lapsed today.
30-year-old Kayne O'Connor pleaded guilty to threatening to harm Skantha in 2018.
O'Connor told the court of threatening to "stomp Skantha's head in" - after he became angry about how the doctor was treating two females.
Skantha's attitude towards women caused friction with another friend - who damaged Skantha's car after he made vulgar remarks about a mutual friend.
