    With five wildcards up his sleeve tournament director Karl Budge is optimistic he can snare the likes of a Dominic Thiem or a Kei Nishikori for next month's ASB men's Classic in Auckland


    Five top 20 ranked players have been confirmed in the list of 17 direct acceptances into the main draw.

    It's an impressive looking field but Budge is candidly talking about a number of top 15 ranked players playing in the new ATP Cup across the Tasman, who could take up late wildcards.
