Christchurch City Council is reviewing the Coroner's findings on a deadly Harewood crash
4 December 2019
Coroner David Robinson found 83-year-old Colleen Case died in a collision after failing to follow a compulsory stop sign in January last year.
He says the road markings were badly worn and council's contractor didn't prioritise fixing them.
Council's, David Adamson, says they're thoroughly reviewing the findings to ensure practices and processes are in line.
He says they've told maintenance contractors safety-related road markings must be urgently responded to.
