    Firefighters have maintained an all-night watch at the site of a large warehouse fire in south Auckland

    Firefighters have maintained an all-night watch at the site of a large warehouse fire in south Auckland


    The fire broke out at United Movers on Inlet Road in Takanini last night.

    Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the building, with people in the immediate area being told to stay indoors.

    Fire and Emergency says four crews remained on site until 2am.

    One crew has remained on site since then, to check for any flare-ups or hot spots.
