    Precautionary flood measures have been extended to Queenstown CBD, Glenorchy and Kingston


    The Queenstown Lakes District Council emergency management team is preparing to deploy sandbags to the towns, should conditions worsen.

    A final decision will be made following further assessment tomorrow morning.

    It follows a second shipment of sandbags to Wanaka today, with a further thousand sandbags to be delivered tomorrow morning.
