    The injury struggles continue for Eliza McCartney


    The Olympic pole vault bronze medalist has missed most of the year due to a hamstring injury, which has led to a setback with her right Achilles tendon.

    McCartney says she's succumbed to reoccurring tendinitis which has deteriorated

    Ryan Fox is eyeing a rare opportunity as he prepares to tee off in the first round of the Australian Golf Open.

    He leads the Australasian tour's order of merit and if he can stay on top he'll secure entry into next year's British Open and two WGC events.

    A host of Presidents Cup players are playing, and Fox says that makes it hard for his rivals.

    Everton's dropped into the relegation zone and Liverpool's restored its eight-point lead in football's English Premier League.

    The Reds have trounced the Toffees 5-2 in the Merseyside derby, to leave their rivals 18th with 14 points from 15 games.

    Manchester United's beaten Tottenham 2-1 upon Jose Mourinho's return to Old Trafford.

    Leicester, Wolverhampton, Chelsea and Southampton were other winners.
