Australia wants to take advantage of Lockie Ferguson's expected absence on day two of the first cricket test against the Black Caps

Australia wants to take advantage of Lockie Ferguson's expected absence on day two of the first cricket test against the Black Caps

The debutant paceman is battling a calf injury and is unlikely to play a role in the rest of the test.

Centurion Marnus Labuschagne says they want to keep the Black Caps bowling for a while.

Labuschagne will resume on 110, with Australia 248 for four.

Former All Black prop Brian 'Jazz' Muller has passed away at the age of 77.

Muller played 35 matches for the All Blacks including 14 tests between 1967 and 1971.

He played 65 matches for Taranaki between 1963 and 1972 and was famous for cutting his hedge with a lawn mower.

A massive boost for Kiwi skier Alice Robinson ahead of the third round of the Giant Slalom World Cup in France next week.

Snow Sports NZ have sent physio Sarah Gillespie to Europe to help prepare the 18 year old and coach Chris Knight says she's made an instant impact.
