Kiwi diver Liam Stone's taking plenty of positives from a bronze medal finish at the Oceania Diving Championships in West Auckland

Kiwi diver Liam Stone's taking plenty of positives from a bronze medal finish at the Oceania Diving Championships in West Auckland

The 23-year-old missed out on the Olympic qualifying spot in the men's three metre springboard at the weekend.

He'll now need a top 18 finish at April's World Cup in order to keep his Tokyo dream alive.

    Stone says things look promising.

Fellow kiwi Elizabeth Cui has won the women's three metre dive to qualify New Zealand a spot at next year's Games.
