National MP Maureen Pugh has asked Jacinda Ardern to intervene in negotiations around the Grey Hospital rebuild.
Pugh says the new building was supposed to open in 2018 - but a standoff between the Ministry of Health and Fletcher Construction means there's no opening date in sight.
She says staff are working in substandard conditions in a building that's not even earthquake safe - and they need to get out of there.
