A 70 million dollar upgrade to State Highway 20B is beginning today.

Bus lanes will be added in each direction, with a new 10 minute airport bus service from Puhinui station.

Transport Minister Phil Twyford says additional work to the Puhinui rail and bus interchange should free up roads and ease congestion.
