    A car yard in the Auckland suburb of Epsom has been damaged by fire


    Firefighters were called to Great South Road just after 1am after an alarm went off.

    Fire and Emergency says the external cladding of a three level commercial building was on fire and was going up the side of the building.

    Spokeswoman Dallas Ramsay says the blaze is now out and a fire investigator is heading there this morning.

    The last fire truck left just after 3am.

    A scene guard is there.
