    One person has died after fleeing police in a vehicle at Rotokawa near Taupo

    One person has died after fleeing police in a vehicle at Rotokawa near Taupo


    Another person has been seriously injured.

    Police say officers chased the vehicle for less than 30 seconds before it hit a fence.

    Police are investigating the death and have also referred the matter to the Independent Police Conduct Authority.
