Leading 65-52 in the third quarter, their game with the Illawarra Hawks was called off due to a roof leak at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre.
Breakers boss Matt Walsh says he received a video of the arena after the game, which looked as though it was raining inside.
He says in his 15 years involved in professional basketball, he's never experienced anything like it.
Walsh says he'll have his lawyers briefed if the decision to give the Breakers victory is overturned.
They currently sit fifth on the ladder, one spot outside play-off contention with two games to play.
